Spanish stocks closed up 0.73%; IBEX 35.
Investing.com On Friday, Madrid Financial Services & Real Estate, Madrid Petrol and Power, and Madrid Consumer Goods sectors lifted Spanish equities.
At Madrid close, the IBEX 35 climbed 0.73%.
Grifols SA (BME:GRLS) was the largest gainer on the IBEX 35, rising 2.33% or 0.24 points to 10.33 at the closing. Late activity saw Banco Santander (BME:SAN) rise 1.59% or 0.11 points to 6.90 and Iberdrola (BME:IBE) rise 1.26% to 16.44.
Telefonica (BME:TEF) declined 0.31% or 0.01 points to 4.56 in late session. Redeia Corporacion SA decreased 0.05% or 0.01 points to 18.27 and Logista (BME:LOG) decreased 0.21% or 0.06 points to 27.86.
The Madrid Stock Exchange had 108 rising equities and 65 descending ones. 34 finished unchanged.
Iberdrola (BME:IBE) shares reached record highs of 16.44, up 1.26% or 0.21.
August gold futures fell 0.67%, or 22.80, to $3,385.30 a troy ounce. In other commodities markets, August Crude oil declined 0.07% to $73.45 a barrel, while August Brent oil slid 2.87% to $76.59.
EUR/USD was 0.28% steady at 1.15, EUR/GBP 0.86.
US Dollar Index Futures fell 0.19% to 98.28.
